Nigerian superstar, Patoranking, celebrated for his distinctive fusion of dancehall, reggae, and traces of Afrobeats, has unveiled his eagerly awaited album, “World Best,” on Sept. 6. This release marks his fourth studio album and the first since the 2020 hit, “Three.”
Speaking to Rolling Stone, Patoranking elucidated that “World Best” isn’t just a title but a profound affirmation of his evolving journey. He reminisces, “From my breakout track ‘Alubarika,’ I’ve showcased my voyage from humble beginnings to international platforms. ‘World Best’ mirrors not just fan sentiments but reinforces my conviction in the musical path I’ve ventured.”

The album, “World Best,” stands out particularly due to the inclusion of dancehall stars Beenie Man and Popcaan. Their participation enhances the album’s dancehall core, offering listeners a genuine dancehall experience enriched with Patoranking’s unique African touch. But they aren’t the only stars to grace the album; international acts like Ludacris, fellow African hitmakers Kizz Daniel and Diamond Platnumz, as well as rising talents like Gyakie, Victony, and Zion Foster, also lend their voices to the project. This robust collaboration symbolizes a harmonious blend of Caribbean and African rhythms, showcasing Patoranking’s expansive global appeal and resonance.
Since his debut in 2014, Patoranking has steadily ascended the ranks, consistently pushing boundaries and incorporating diverse genres. Primarily influenced by dancehall ,reggae and Afrobeats, he has carved a niche for himself in the music landscape. “World Best” is a testament to his growth and commitment to his artistry, marked by impactful collaborations and powerful affirmations
