Byron Messia Makes Billboard Hot 100 Chart Debut with ‘Talibans’ Remix, Featuring Burna Boy

Dancehall sensation, Byron Messia, has registered another landmark achievement with his track “Talibans” remix, featuring afrobeat superstar Burna Boy, as it entered the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at no. 99 this Wednesday.

Messia’s recent offering, “Talibans II,” the remix, has gathered a whopping 4.6 million views within just 13 days of its release. The original track stands tall with a commendable 39 million views on YouTube.

Since his breakout hit “Talibans” in January this year, Byron Messia has been on an extraordinary streak in the dancehall scene. The original song has accumulated 40 million views on YouTube since its release, and Burna Boy’s remix has further escalated its popularity. A verse from Chris Brown for the song recently surfaced, but no official news of a remix featuring the R&B artist has been confirmed.

Meanwhile, dancehall fans worldwide are contributing to a surge in streams across various Digital Service Providers (DSP). This is paving the way for the Jamaican-born, St. Kitts-raised artist to achieve his first hit on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in his career.
