Dancehall Titans Baby Cham & Bounty Killer Drop ‘Time Bomb’ EP Album, Produced by Dave Kelly: Stream Now!

Dancehall stars, Baby Cham and Bounty Killer are slated to release a new collaborative EP titled “Time Bomb” this Friday, September 22nd.

Over two decades after their 1999 hit “Another Level”, the two artists are joining forces once again. This latest collaboration coincides with the 30th anniversary of Madhouse Records.

The “Time Bomb” EP consists of seven tracks. Among the featured artists are dancehall names like Dexta Daps and Dave Kelly. Additionally, there’s an interesting collaboration with English actor and DJ, Idris Elba.

The EP has been produced by the experienced Dave Kelly. Before the pandemic, Kelly had been working on bringing this vision to life. He mentioned that his aim was to create music that showed the duo’s evolution but remained true to their roots.

Describing the process, Kelly mentioned a harmonious collaboration, saying, “We aimed to create an environment free from egos, ensuring a smooth creative process.”

For the creation of the EP, the trio spent a month at a confidential location. Regarding their work, Cham and Bounty Killer shared, “We aimed to bring fresh sounds to the dancehall scene, showing that it’s still thriving.”

Their song “Slow Motion”, which released on May 5, 2023, has been well-received. The song features contributions from Dexta Daps, and there’s also a mini-movie associated with it, which has Jada Kingdom, Dexta Daps, Cham, and Bounty Killer in roles.

Reflecting on their past collaborations, Cham commented, “I’ve been learning from Bounty Killer since my early days in the studio.”

To accompany the release of the “Time Bomb” EP, there will be a documentary airing this Friday at 7CST/8pmEST/1AM UK, offering fans an inside look into the making of the album.
