Dancehall superstar Sean Paul has once again climbed to the pinnacle of Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart with “Niña Bonita,” his collaboration with Colombian artist Feid. The track clinched the top spot on the list dated August 19, signifying Paul’s triumphant return for the second time after a six-year break.
Previously, Sean Paul had achieved No. 1 on the Latin Airplay with his Spanglish feature on Enrique Iglesias’s “Súbeme La Radio” in 2017. Prior to “Niña Bonita,” Paul’s collaboration “Contra La Pared” with J Balvin reached a No. 8 high in 2019. Going further back, his 2006 English hit “Temperature” ascended to the top 10, peaking at No. 10.
2023 has been fruitful for Sean Paul, marking another significant Spanglish collaboration. Earlier in the year, he teamed up with Karol G and Bad Gyal for “Karmika,” which secured a No. 25 position on the Hot Latin Songs in March.
While “Niña Bonita” represents a monumental achievement for Sean Paul, it also highlights Feid’s continued success, as it becomes his fourth No. 1 on Latin Airplay. Furthermore, “Bonita” conquered the Latin Rhythm Airplay charts, denoting Sean Paul’s third No. 1 triumph and his first hit on this chart since 2017.
